Not sure if we've had a thread on this before, but as the title suggests what was more important?

Dickov's goal against Gillingham

Or

Aguero's against QPR

Tough call for me, but maybe without Dickov's goal we may have ended up being in league 1 or the championship for a long time and then ADUG might not have given us a second look or Thaksin for that matter!

Without Dickovs goal we wouldn`t have been in a position to buy Aguero….. no Aguero negates the question....
But I agree Dickov = most important
Aguero = most satisfying

Must be a few months since we had one of these threads. Impossible to be 100% certain, but I'd go with the Dickov goal. Re. Aguero's goal, the likelihood was that, with the investment made by HRH, we'd have landed a league title sooner or later.

If Aguero hadn't scored his goal, we may have won the league nonetheless in the following years. In fact, the club probably would have risked backing Mancini more in the transfer market to ensure it happened.

If Dickov hadn't scored his goal, we may not have had another season full stop.
