What were some tactical decisions or key moments that turned the season around?

Everyone is right. For me it was a combination of factors:

  • Ruben back to fitness and at his best as defender/leader
  • Pep experimenting with Rico as FB/Mid and then refining that role with John
  • Cancelo being moved out brought the squad together but also made Pep play 'proper' defenders in that role
  • Gundo getting a second wind
  • Integrating Haaland better although that didn't really result in more goals but a better team performance
  • the PL charges galvanising the squad
  • Pep, Pep and Pep, fighting, motivating, outthinking everyone else. He fully earns his genius label
A perfect storm that swept away the rest of the football world.

What a team. I'm so proud to be a blue.

THE BEST TEAM IN THE LAND AND ALL THE WORLD*

Dias return, Cancelo out and Stones in MD
Akanji despite some errors showed that he can be solid in the crucial games againt strong attackers

There was a lot of experimenting. Walker playing inverted was shite. Lewis had to be used, but then he started to get targeted as a young, less physical player. Eventually he settled on the Stones role and we never looked back.

Last night I made the brave decision at half time to switch from the living room to the bedroom.worked a treat, still never seen us lose in the bedroom, pep and the lads get a lot of the praise but there's loads goes on in the background as well
