What would you like in place of the "B" of the Bang???

Columns of sculptured monuments, which allows supporters to puchase a small space of etched images on plaques.

I liked the `B of the Bang` too but I think something like the above would be a good idea, maybe some kind of memorial for Blues (players and fans) who`ve passed away and a chance to have a small plaque in their honour.

If not then a pig roasting on a spit with an apple in it`s mouth.

Oh yes, really embarrassing. The turn around of Manchester City, a time when we suddenly began to rise from the dead, with one last kick , one shot, one goal, and all of a sudden the ity began to rise and rise, and has never stopped getting bigger and better. you are 1005 wrong, i would be extremely proud to see that placed there on the way in to the ground, remember you roots ma friend and not just the glory hunters and massive winners

Can't agree at all, it'd be embarrassing and cringeworthy.[/quote

Did you think it was embarrassing and cringeworthy at the time?? i dont know about you but i was bouncing around like a fucking lunatic. I never thought i'd ever see/hear/read about a city fan being embarrassed or ashamed of our past. I'm proud as fuck for where we've come from to the mass riches we've got today.

i think you should be embarrassed for such a comment.

a sixty foot high, solid gold nodding donkey (oil derrick) ,with high powered spotlights. i can hear it now kadunk, kadunk, kadunk,

oh and a high powered spotlight that shines into the sky with "this is our city" a bit like they have for batman

I like this, but would prefer a replica in bronze of the Cerne Abbas giant, complete with fully erect todger, and Nige's face complete with big grin.

This is very difficult, as you have to decide if you want to achieve something that will be timeless or stake a point in history (this option is very open and difficult as history is made every day)

For me it would have to be a symbol of the club, either a crest (St Marks cross/rose and ship badge or eagle crest) or a generic sky blue shirt.

If you pinpointed a person/persons of relevant importance to our successes, then we could place statues of Joe Mercer/Allison or Bell/Summerbee and Lee, but in 5 years maybe, the current manager and players may have surpassed their acheivements and won more for the club

Heres a left of field idea - Helens Bell

I'm surprised nobody has suggested we help the rags in a small way and put in a bid for a couple of their statues they have? After all, they have 2 of Denis Law and 1 of Matt Busby.

Who'd have thought it, they have more statues of our players than we do? And they call us obsessed!
