What would you say to Mark Ogden?

I think it's really poor of you to invite him on to be honest.

I know for a fact the guy absolutely hates City. He'll be laughing his arse off at you deep down that he was even invited on.

I guess you're desperate for the hits or something.

Can't say I'll be listening.

Depends on whether you're talking balanced in terms of impartiality or balance of the 'mentally unhinged' variety. Ogden is a sneaky little cockroach but Jackson wins the latter hands down, with his underwear on his head, throwing his faeces at the nurses.
The thing with Jackson is that he's so genuinely brain dead and clueless that some of his drivel can be excused. Whenever he pops up on the radio, which isn't often, I'm left with the impression that the man genuinely has very little knowledge of football in manchester. He can fit 4 or 5 factual errors about both United and City into a 3 sentence answer, or mispronounce the names of players in either team for 3,4,5 years.

Ogden on the other hand isn't an idiot, he's just very unlikeable sometimes.

Do you think it right that a paper employed a former Man Utd fanzine writer to cover both United and City games?

Why are your United articles always written in a positive light and you City ones always have a pop at City in some way?

Is the bias you show just down to you or is it enforced by the editorial policy of the papers you have worked for?

Why did you leave the Telegraph?

Do City get a bad press because the journalists are annoyed that their teams didn't get visited by a fairy Godmother? Or is it racism? Is it due to City crashing the top 4 monopoly? if not one of thee above what?

What do you really think of FFP? Why did so many journalists approve of the blatant attempt to block City when there were much fairer ways of stopping clubs going bust or spending far too much money like other teams have?

1) Why do the press try and reduce Guardiola's role here to "Win the Champions league, success. Lose the Champions League, failure"?

Every City fan knows that his success or failure does not depend on winning the Champions League, but in elevating us from also rans to genuine contenders, every city fan would be content if he won league titles but not the CL, and everyone knows that bringing through players from the academy is also something he'll be judged on because fans are desperate for it and so are the owners, given their projections for academy players in the team and large investment.

Yet when we read articles by journalists in England, like yourself, All we ever read is that he'll be solely judged on his European performance, when everyone knows that's not true.

2) We often hear about how Guardiola is curt and dismissive of transfer gossip or cheap questions in press conferences, but that he loves to go on about tactical ideas and player developement. So why do we never have this stuff reported from his press conferences? Why do the various members of the press not ask interesting tactical questions so we can here these long answers?

When you are reporting on different teams, how do you avoid personal bias? How do you make sure that your articles paint a complete picture of the clubs instead of focusing on only eyeball-catching headlines?

the only question that needs to be asked is

"why dont you just fuck off and die?"

You could ask him if he thinks that anybody actually reads any of his articles, what with newspapers being an outdated concept and a dying medium, either that or just simply ask him "Who are you?" (I only ask because without this site I would have absolutely no idea who Mark Ogden was)

It's round, weights about a pound, and the object is to get it into the net between the two posts.
