Is Ogden the one from Heywood who lived in the bungalow shop at the bottom of Argyle street?
Darnhill -
It's not quite Darnhill. I used to catch the bus to school outside his parents shop every day. I'd have shit in the garden if I'd known.
Right.
I think the problem is more that in reality you're bringing him on and you'll both be laughing off the questions you get.
Off mic you'll be telling him how wrong City fans are about him and how the questions are stupid and paranoid.
I'm not quite sure what you're hoping to achieve (apart from building a bridge with him to further your career). He's going to deny disliking City, he's going to deny purposely putting a negative spin on things & he's not going to admit he supports United.
Maybe you can both talk about how great our BT coverage was last season and how you both think City fans were over reacting to that as well?
This.Right.

I asked him on Twitter if he and Ashton are now on speaking teams and tagged them both.Hi mark, I'm not sure if I used the correct vernacular earlier in the thread, I'll correct my stupidity...
What was it like finding out Neil Ashton has scuttled your Mrs at the 2014 Xmas doo? all a while you were getting extra gravy at Lou Macaris restaurant...
Thanks for answering!!
Easy. Fuck off you rag bastard. Do these questions get any harder?
Just seen an interesting Twitter exchange with Dave where he's defending his reasons for bringing Mark on. Interestingly he goes down the route of saying we've got a problem because we care what the press say.
Yes we do Dave, with good reason.
He actually uses the word 'worry' which is worse. No doubt they'll have a little chuckle to each other about blues who don't like the way we're reported on.he says Ogden is top of the hate list of fans who care what the press think.
Just listened to last weeks podcast. First time I've bothered and will probably be the last as they thought we were 'appealing' as opposed to contesting Aguero's charge. Aren't these blokes meant to know more than the average fan?He actually uses the word 'worry' which is worse. Mark has kindly agreed to do a 'mean tweets' sort of segment with us and so it was the abuse we were after. He'll be reading them out. All being well, we'll be having that as a funnier ending to this week's Patreon supplement show which will see Sam Roscoe joined by Mark and the Sunday Mirror correspondent and City fan Simon Mullock, which will discuss the reporting of City in the press.
The main show will be the usual set-up for an hour.
As it happens, right now, I'm (David) not even due to be on this show - but for any last-minute cancellations.
It's worth pointing out, too, that not all of the panellists on the podcast have been City fans in the past and that the show is largely pro-City, being for City fans.
Yeah but it'll get him closer to the main men in the press so all good.I think you're out of order asking blues to contribute to this especially without saying exactly what you were planning in the OP. The whole idea of the mean tweets thing is to make the sender look stupid and be laughed at by the subject. Seems that it's a set up to kiss his arse and to have a good old laugh at the fans. Not cool.
