I had currywurst brats in Manchester in Sept.

There’s Herman Ze German in London too. I had three portions of Currywurst in Berlin within 24 hours. It was that good.

Anyhow, I preferred the dipped bread because it was still hot and soft.

Nothing worse than cold fried bread.

My mum used to also make scallops for us when they were skint towards the end of the week.

Our kid, Zimmer, used to regularly have a rather disgusting donner kebab from Abduls.

Nowt wrong with that until he asked for no salad and smothered it in ketchup and mayonnaise.

Fucking horrendous to look at.

Washed down with a can of Rubicon, always....

I still eat fried bread - on the few occasions that I have a fry up. Tastes so damn good.
