I can see a few scenarios where I might be have no choice but to wish for a rag win but today wasn't one of them.
I always want City to be as successful as possible and as of today that means finishing second so whilst I couldn't wish for a Utd win I was hoping for a draw with Chelsea.
Hopefully City will win their remaining league games and make it all academic.

Glad Chelsea won, at least it should keep the players concentrating on winning as many games as possible in the league 'cos Chelsea are breathing down our necks.
Remember we won the FA Cup in 2011 and came second on goal difference to Chelsea that year, I hope we win again and this time get more points than them for second position.
Still think the cup final is not a given though!

People are being paranoid about this Runners Up thing. One, it won't happen and two, it wouldn't matter if it did. As long as we win the FA Cup and don't come fourth, will do for me. We'll strengthen in the summer anyway. I am at a loss to know what is bothering people about this.

I would rather finish 2nd than 3rd.It lays down a marker to Chelsea saying where still better than you.

Its a fair point that winning the cup is more important and barring a major mishap we are likely to qualify for the Champs League. However finishing second would mean a strong finish and a record of finishing 1st then 2nd wouldn't look too bad.
