What's everybody doing...????

Turns out staying at home with two young uns is infinitely harder than being at work...

What are other people with young children doing? Wasn’t too bad when we had a few days decent weather as we could get out in the garden.

Kin ell, have been walking and riding my bike constantly, if I'm not careful I'm going to be ripped again

Its bloody hard work isnt it. Mine are 3 and 9. The 9 year old is fine with a mix of school work, switch, playing out in the back garden etc and can crack on without much bother. However our 3 year old girl is just a pain in the ass. Its not even 11am and on meltdown number 4 and needs constant attention. When me and the wife are supposed to be working from home its a right juggling act. Could be much worse i know so im trying to keep positive and patient with them and enjoy us all being together. Playing board games, building dens, colouring, painting they absolutely love so just trying to ensure we do plenty with them.

We have a 7yr old, 3yr old and a 1yr old. Like you say, older one is generally fine. Will get bored but you can set her on a task or she can watch a film or whatever. 3yr old is bonkers, won't sit down and just needs constant attention all the time. Yeah it was fine when the weather was good, put them in the garden and they just play all day but the last few days has been a nightmare. Least we say about homeschooling, the better :D

Just completed my very first Tesco click and collect. V impressed, efficient and quick and hopefully low risk. Spent the morning disinfecting everything I picked up. Will certainly use it again if I can get a slot. Shoutout to those lads and lasses that are keeping our supermarkets open and reasonably stocked. They are on the front line too and deserve a thanks.

That just abouts sums up our days at the moment perfectly.

I have realised once again how much I hate gardening this last week. I wish I loved it. I wish I had a garden to be proud of but alas for me it is never going to be. And yes I am on about my garden outside my house and not my Leo Sayer styled man garden!
