Just been sitting sunbathing on the patio, and come in to open a bottle of chilled vinho verde, which I am having with a plate of feta cheese and olives. It's a mix of Portugal and Greece, but it's all going down a treat.
Vinho verde is a lovely, crisp, refreshing white, delicious on a warm day, though I normally prefer red, and i think white is a bit girly.

I set up my tent in the back garden last night. I live quite rurally so I was lulled to sleep by foxes screeching in the woods, and the cows farting and shitting in the next field.

I got a bit cold in the early hours so i'm on some high strength IPA right now to make sure I don't get cold tonight.

Kind of getting used to this malarky, going to take a week or two to get back in the swing of things when we finally get back to work. Until then I will proceed with my aimless fucking about as if nothing has happened.

Worked hard in the back garden in the sunshine yesterday and it wasn't a chore for a change, really enjoyed it and it looked the best it has since last summer when I'd finished ..

Decided today to light the BBQ for Mrs BTB, number 1 son and daughter..

Chipolata sausages, angus burgers, pork steaks and King prawns..

(The chicken and steak got a stay of execution bit like my haircut today as I've persuaded the wife that I can live with it a bit longer, she looks a bit disappointed but I figure alcohol and scissors are not a good mix..)

Anyway, not managed to poison anyone (no symptoms yet anyway) which is a good sign for me..

Several cold beers, sun's out, boiling hot..

It's like being on holiday..

Stuffed now, time for a lie down I think..!

Also, it feels like a Sunday today not Saturday which means still 2 days before back to work..!

It's been one of my better days over the last few weeks to be fair..!
