I don’t miss it.

I can’t stand songs/chants being artificially made into atmosphere by being played over the tannoy.

It’s fake atmosphere.

I don’t even like Blue Moon as a song neither. It’s alright when we’re playing well and 3-0 up when everyone puts a bit of gusto behind it but it’s a very dreary chant with shit words at any other time.

I want it back, it is our song, it is like that lot in red in another northern city (an inferior northern city) not having YNWA, us not having Blue Moon. @wearethesouthstand I don't do that twittery stuff so can you post my vote for having Blue Moon played over there please? :-)

Much prefer "We're not really here" and the City rendition of "Hey Jude." Way more anthematic and get the fans roused.

Is it time for a new City anthem?

Also the song is only dirge if you only sing the first verse, we should be singing the whole song imo

I agree. Bluemoon is dreadful. 1894 did very well on Tuesday getting the atmosphere going and did a fine airing of Hey Jude.
