What's happening with Kolo now?

He is 30 and might get a lenghty ban. Honestly..i dont think he will be needed when he returns (if he returns). He has already seen his best days not to mention his huge wages which are 100k+/a week i think.

We have Boateng and Boyata..both are young and getting better and i would choose them both over Kolo at the moment and in the future.

I dont rate Lescott either for the long-term. But he has done ok while Kolo has been suspended. Not to mention that we might sign another centre-back in the summer.

With that in mind, should he eventually be found guilty, would the club be within their right to rip up his contract?

They would indeed.

I'm surprised clubs don't use this option far more. I suppose it's a cultural thing, and might give the club a bad name amongst players... but legally Toure cannot fulfill his part of the contract so the club could be entitled to scrap it.

Don't hold your breath, the guy is fucked.

And I ain't being funny, but why the fuck does a professional footballer feel the need to take diet pills anyway? He trains most days, has access to a gym, is paid a ridiculous amount of money, his diet should be tip top so why is the lazy fucking prick taking his fucking wifes diet pills? Stupid fucking ****. Deserves all he gets and make no mstake about it, this guy is gonna be banned for most of next season at the least, and so he should be

there are some bad posts on this thread but this is the worst of the lot, one of the nastiest and worst posts I have ever seen on blue moon

Dunno. But he signed the contract before 2010...so i dont think it counts towards the FFP? Thats a very good thing.

So there is actually no need to. The club is very supportive towards the players. They didn't put pressure on Zabba when he was in Argentina. So dunno really. As long as his huge wages doesn't count towards FFP..there is no need to rip it up.

As far as I know we suspended him, and are awaiting the legal process of the people who will ban him. I saw him on the training thread which made me wonder what's happening. How long will it be before we know the outcome of this legal process? And are the club actually within our right to still play him?

Don't care. Another one who needs moving on.

Lescott is better (cant believe I'd be saying that) and we NEED to bring in another World Class central defender anyway..............if he's happy to be 4th choice then OK.

I don't think we will ditch him, I believe rightly or wrongly the club will stand by him and will honour his contract in full. The main reason for my thinking is simply Yaya.

I really wish we still had Dunne at the club. Anyone else agree? Dunney and Kompany together would be solid.

It's nasty, but there have been worse said (about Jo in particular).

Personally I would feel much safer with Toure at the back instead of Lescott, he's done well mind you but every time the opposition come near him I get scared...

I think Boateng would be the best option beside Kompany

and that Stevie Ireland in midfield as well
you must be on more drugs than Kolo
Dunne has proven he is an overweight clown who at best is a mid table average centre half

City need to sign a world class dominating centre half in the mould of Vidic to play alongside Kompany

Boeteng will make a good right back given time to adjust Boyata is never going to be good enough for a club with top 4 aspirations

I don't care what happens to kolo his time has run at City the club will move on whilst he serves his ban
IMHO
