thinking about buyingseats for the top tier for the Fulham game, but i just wanted to check beforehand, i'd like to know if it is like looking at ants and you are really high up or is it ok and you still get good visibility of the play. their selling out quickly.

cheers

I love it up there (my ST is there)
It's not like looking at Subuteo (sp?) or like being at St James' Park. You get a really good overview of the play - remember not to get too frustrated when you can see a player free in space and can't understand why the players on the pitch can't see it though hm? :P

I sit right on the half way line, colin bell third tier and for me its the best view you can get. The players dont look tiny and you can see the whole of the play.

Actually, the middle of the second tier in the comfy seats with the prawn sandwich crew is the best you can get but that only for the stupidly rich

I dont think these people who slag the third tier have ever actually sat there, the view is excellent. Wont be the case when your on the 8th tier in a few years when we have to accomodate all the cockneys and irish folk

I sit on the front row East stand L3 on line with the penalty spot & can honestly say its one of the best views I have ever had at any stadium in Europe.

You get a real feel for the game & you are by no means too far away from the action.

Highly reccomended in my book.

Oh, n it's easy to get a pi$$ at half time! no queing up like on L2

Whenever I get over, I usually go for level 3 in the East Stand, around 308 or 309 and the first half dozen or so rows. The view is absolutely fantastic from up there. Here's a pic I took from two or three years ago;

Alright, you don't get the same atmosphere as you would in the 110/111 area of the ground, but some of us can live with that.

east stand level 3 veiw fantastic, atmosphere not bad either some of you doubters want to try it, you won't know because you can't see whats going on up there, sat at the back of level 1 for the fulham carling cup and did not like it, used to sit in colin bell level 1 3 rows up no good to low not bad for abusing the away team subs though
