What's next for Mancini?

If Mancini gets the barca job I will be interested to see what all his critics on here would say.
After I'd finished laughing (which might be a while) I'd say it was a smart move by Rosell. It would deflect the blame fom him when it all fell apart. Plus Messi would be here next summer for sure.

Haha still no respect from some.

the Cabal holds its collective breath lol

Mancini is neither good enough or has the right character for Barca, saying that this could be his very best opportunity as the 'available' candidate list isnt very extensive.......

Laudrup would be a good choice if he was up for the chance.

Greatest manager we have had since joe mercer, I hope he gets a top job, named my grandson bobby after the guy.

I think Laudrup would be a very good choice for Barcelona.Remember he used to play for them.I think he played in the the team that won the European cup in 1992.

Laudrup over Mancini? Lol

As I've posted previously, I know his closest friend personally. We spoke on Friday evening after he had spent the day trying to reach a settlement with the club - for himself as he no longer works for City.

The process is ongoing today and if he can help further Roberto will fly into London today or tomorrow to help him if he can.

Without naming him, he's not Italian and comes from a non footballing background. Anyone connected to the club will know exactly who it is. He was employed by City before Roberto was the manager and left the club employment shortly after the manager was sacked. Pushed or jumped, that's the question really.

He will be going with Roberto to his next club, where that is at the moment he's being tight lipped and I wouldn't repeat a confidence on a public forum even if I knew. There was the 3 jobs in Italy that he turned down, and the offer from Turkey. Not sure which club that it was and thats as much as I know for now.

We're supposed to be meeting up on Sunday but it depends on how the settlement meeting goes in London the next day or so.

I thought he was Roma destined... that didn't happen.

He probably earns a hell of a lot more money staying unemployed than what he would do as manager at any other club.

I suspect that whatever his next job is, it'll be a step down in terms of ambition and expectation from City.
