Whats the Best Bargain You Ever Bought ?

Bought an Avengers comic from 1963 at a 2nd hand book shop for 40p. Sold it for £46.00.

Went back to the same shop a few weeks later & bought 5 X-Men comics from 1976/77 for £2.00. Sold one for £49.00 & another for £140.00. The other 3 I only got £15.00 for.

Next Saturday I am in the area again so will visit the shop again.

Where is this shop? (In the Durham area in a few weeks...)

Bought an LP by hippy dippy band Kaleidoscope thirty years ago on a market stall for £2.

Sold it a few years ago for £250.

Around 10 multipacks of crisps and a bottle of wine all for 10p.

The crisps were something like £1 a pack and you if you bought one you got the second half price. They were all marked down to 10p each but the tills knocked off 50p for every other packet. Had to get the wine to keep the bill above zero.

Spent 20 pence on a raffle ticket in 1984 and won the star prize which was a Colour TV & VCR . at the time i only had a black & white portable tv . Happy days

Found one of the wifes old cabin crew costumes in the attic and sold it to some weirdo in Bolton for £900.

Passed a charity shop last year someone from Huddersfield giants had handed there clothes in there was 4 pairs of Levi's, he must have worn them once then threw them in the wardrobe they were brand new bought them all for £26 quid then the lady told me the story he comes in every couple of months with all new expensive items well chuffed just my size aswell

Bought an air hostess outfit from this bloke for £900. Would have happily paid twice that. It fits like a glove.
