What's the best city you have visited?

Not very big ? That's never been my feeling, I do love it though and had one of the best meals in my life there

Sydney. Absolutely loved Sydney.

Although Budapest and Vienna get honourable mentions in my book.

I also love Paris. When we went my wife has a family friend that is a native Parisian. She took us to places the average tourist wouldn't go/think to go. It was wonderful.

That being said, Nice, France would probably be my favourite city. We went during Carnival and had great time. Really can't think of anything about the city we didn't enjoy.

Was there not dogshit everywhere when you went? Ruined the place for me, it was everywhere!
 
Berlin is the one for me. So much history (a lot of it chequered), cheap (for western Europe), good transport, friendly people and generally a very cool and vibrant place. I didn't see enough of it, but Beunos Aires is also top top.
 
As a place to go and live, Melbourne.
Where i had the most fun, Kathmandu.
As a pure destination, Granada.
The worst was Guayaquil.
