What's the best Football Management game ever?

LMA manager on the playstation was perfect IMO.

The perfect balance between simplicity, detail, and playability.

Not sure what it was called but you could choose what you sold like pies etc... And how much for.
Lma was good fun. But football manager is the best.

Was it on the PC? on Ultimate Soccer Manager you could/can build program stands, restaurants, club shops stuff like that and choose the price of Pints and footballs and stuff so might be that one it was around 1998 1999

Premier Manager 98, Premier Manager 99 and Premier Manager 2000 were brilliant games but the new school versions Premier Manager 2011 and Premier Manager 2012 are terrible terrible games its like they have gone back 14 years rather than forward

My main gripe with the football manager series is they too hard to be good at. It takes away the fun if you can't win. Even if you buy all the games best players you will still lose 4-0 to wigan. Far too much emphasis on tactics, not the fun part of the game.

And yes, I realise I am just shit at it, so therefore I hate it!
