What's the biggest let down in film history?

Re: What's the biggest let down in flm history?

Robert De Niro's choice of film roles since 1996

Heaven's Gate (a huge flop after The Deerhunter by Michael Cimino)

Gangs Of New York ( a huge let down by Scorsese - could have been so much better?)

your'e joking ?? Really enjoyed this.

Astonishing to not like it!

But I guess if you don't understand what the film is really studying, you won't.
Can you enlighten us as to what it was really studying then?
Cos I also felt hugely let down... beautifully shot and very well acted but the crapiest (non) end to any film Ive ever seen

I thought Tropic Thunder was was of the films I have ever seen !!!

You see the cast and think this is going to be a classic and then realise you have wasted 2 hours of your life !!

the latest indiana jones - truly awful. IF there is going to be another please god dont let george lucas near the script

phantom menace- shocking

die hard 4 - some decent scenes but on the whole was a lame action film

terminator 3 and 4 - as a massive terminator fan i was gutted when these garbage sequels came out. should never of continued without james cameron.
