What's the difference between Mancini and Ferguson?

In the end Mancini may not be as successful, but he's more likeable.

I don't know about him being more 'likeable', he has a massive ego, and is very aloof. A lot of the Inter players turned on him, when he was reaching the end of his tenure. The United players would run through brick walls for Ferguson. The same can definitely not be said for the City players regarding Mancini. Ferguson is just simply better than him.

I do not buy into this stability business. Stability, yes, with the right manager. Stability with the wrong manager, can stall a clubs progress, or take them backwards. If City had given Alan Ball all the time in the world to build a team, and stamp his personality on it, it would still have been rubbish. The reason why we've been so unsuccessful for the past years, is more to do with poor appointments than being trigger happy. The only manager I can think in recent times who should have being given more time is Sven, our best manager in recent years, its just a shame he came a year too early. If Thaksin hadn't done the dirty on him, and ADUG came along, he would still be manager now.
