the only reason i watched blue velvet was because a girl i really fancied had it on dvd and it was a cracking excuse to get her into my bedroom to watch it on my telly. i dont remember being very impressed by it, but that could be because i spent the entire film planning my next move (for what its worth i failed)TheMightyQuinn said:Blue Velvet by Lynch, actually anything by Lynch.

Eraserhead was just completely weird with some really disturbing images but you knew it was contrived. The Exorcist, on the other hand was quite frightening and only too believable, being based on a true story.
