Whats the point of playing with 3 strikers and zero attacking midfielders ( Play makers or Wingers) !

I can`t really understand how Mancini think ! strikers needs wingers and play makers to create chances for them, but he decided to to use any of them !

That's why he took one off and went back to a 4 man midfield. it wasn't working

he probably did that due to the players available. We had a fit forward line but were weak in midfield (Milner, De Jong, Silva, AJ, SWP all out or carrying knocks)

SWP wasn't fully fit, but was named on the bench because of all the other injuries.

Big picture, he didnt have the creative midfielder, we needed to be solid in the middle with Zab and Barry. He figured Tev would come deep and be that creative source in front of Dzeko and Balo. Didnt work but worth a try in my book.

Silva and Johnson probably our two best creative players both out and past those two we don't really have any creative wingers or midfielders, Milner and SWP were not fully fit so he didn't have much choice really.

You could also say that we should not have played Silva against Aris. Having gone 2-0 up tevez and Silva should have been subbed.

Mancini wanted a 3rd goal in midweek to be safe.

he has failed to prioritise and will pay the price....sadly.
