Whats this all about then? Spitting?

One of the quotes seems to sum it up 'I started to film it and tried to record the whole thing ........................ but my memory card was full.' Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
You missed the end of the quote (unless they're all putting their own spin on it):

Another match-goer, who caught the beginning of the scuffle on camera, said: 'I tried to film the whole thing but the memory ran out on my phone before it really kicked off.'

So s/he filmed the start (presumably the video clip they have where nothing happens) but all the nasty City fans did nasty things but I couldn't film that bit. If people died of embarrassment then the majority of journalists should have dropped dead by now.

got to be honest here, lads together and drunk can be right twats, I saw a few in our end pushing other city fans out of their way etc. but hey it goes on everywhere, once again fantastic reporting by our good friends at the mirror

Colin, you have said what I intended to say !!! I laughed when he said he hadn't recorded the bit where it kicked off, yeh right. In other news I got into a fight with Tyson Fury and thrashed him, he was begging for mercy at the end, unfortunately I have an old style camera and I forgot there was no film in it....................... Honest !!!!

Talking of these scuffles though. Did anyone see this after the Leicester game...

I was walking out of the away end towards Raw Dyke road (I know, what a name) and a City fan (I presume) with a Southern accent was berating someone, saying 'I've been to Maine Road mate'. Suddenly, the guy he was talking too turned round with his three friends and chased him before eventually catching him and giving him a bit of a hiding. By this point a huge crowd of people had gathered round to see what was happening.

Always makes me laugh when people get so upset and want a fight at a football game.

TBH i had a group of bigger bellends on the row behind me. Gloating it was there first away game. All giddy on the sniff of a bar maids apron. Complete and utter cock wombles

Did one of them try and start singing 'Guardiola?'

You were great during the game. Outside of that, a few fans spoiled it for everyone else. I was there, didn't see anyone spat at, but they were getting rather aggressive when there were kids about. It wasn't needed, but I have seen worse.
We wasn't know as the bitters for no reason you know!!
2nd leg should be fun with 8,000 of you lot coming over.
Delicately balanced for a great match,

fucking scum at the MUEN why else would they do this if its not nothing more than hate to Manchester city
Video: Footage captures Manchester City and Everton fans trading insults and punches
http://www.manchestereveningnews.co...s/video-everton-manchester-city-fans-10698461

Ugly scenes erupted between rival fans after last night’s Capital One Cup semi-final clash at Goodison Park between Everton and Manchester City.
Mobile phone footage of fans taunting and squaring up to each other has been revealed.
The incident captured took place near a cemetery on Priory Road as Manchester City fans were making their way back to the coaches to travel back up the M62 motorway.
Reports from Merseyside suggest a brawl erupted later.
According to an Everton fan who witnessed the scenes, rival fans spat and goaded each other. The footage shows punches being thrown and insults traded as the two sets of fans walk adjacent to each other. The witness said: “By the time police arrived at the scene, it had escalated into a mass brawl. There were kids there with mums and dads who witnessed it.”

(The Everton fan who filmed the scenes described it as the worst trouble he had seen at a game) hahahahahahahahahahaha adding: “I tried to film the whole thing but the memory ran out on my phone before it really kicked off. hahahahahahahahaah

A police spokesman said: "Merseyside Police can confirm that officers involved in the policing of the football match last night between Everton and Manchester City came across a minor verbal confrontation between football supporters after the game in the area of Priory Road, at around 10pm. Following police attendance, the crowd was safely dispersed.

"At this stage, no reports or complaints have been received by the force."

Officers are appealing for witnesses.

City fans? I couldn't believe it. I have never seen a more well mannered, cultured, eloquent and behaved crowd as we have here. Shit even that woman of a Brittisch queen is likely impressed by our style.

This is part problem of recent aways.... Young lads trying to experience the whole "away day" thing they have seen in movies and what their Daddies told them. It's more about posturing, wearing certain clothing, looking the part, on the marching powder.

One big Egotistical wankfest.
It's so fucking Homo-Erotic, it wouldn't surprise me if there were football hooligan gay porn flicks.

Behave and watch the Football or Fuck off into Strangeways if you wanna scrap and spoil it all for genuine fans.
