What's worse, horrifying relegation battles or terrifying title chases?

We older blues have suffered a bellyful of relegations over the years and although promotions were always exciting i thought the relief of getting back to were we should be was more satisfying.

As for title chases theres nowt to be terrified about. Since 2012 we have won the PL 5 times and been runners up thrice. And this season we'll either win it marginally or marginally miss out so I'm hardly terrified about finishing 2nd to a very good Arsenal team.

All exciting stuff being a blue and we're very fortunate to be watching the best period of our entire history right now. Let that sink in.
 
I don’t get this. I absolutely love being in the hunt for trophies. I can’t wait for games. If we lose out then that’s just the way it goes sometimes, but frequently enough this team delivers anyway.
I go to sleep with a smile on my face and wake up with a spring in my step. The desperation and fear of rag fans adds to the enjoyment. Relegation battles are negative tense affairs and when they don’t go our way are ultimately depressing.
These are halcyon days, savour and enjoy them because nothing lasts forever. Don’t waste them worrying about not winning every trophy.
 
I found the first title race as stressful as some relegations, none since though.

Personally, I still see the 2011/12 win as almost a completion of a long journey as a fan. Everything since then, I’ve just enjoyed. I’m not that bothered nowadays if we do win the title or not, I get more enjoyment now from how we play rather than what we win.

We are in the situation now where even if we don’t win it, we’re pretty much guaranteed to be back challenging the next season, I can’t see us dropping down significantly or for a prolonged period of time.

Totally different emotions, exhilaration v disconsolate. Would much rather be hopeful of being in with a chance of a title than face the fear of relegation.
