They’re very good. Just don’t compare them to the first series too much as they aren’t as good as that excellence, but as stand alones they’re very good in their own right.

In recent years I've loved The Sopranos, Mad Men, Orange is the New Black, Breaking Bad, amongst a host of others. But nothing can top Game of Thrones for me, from the very beginning to the very end, flaws and all. I think it is the ultimate 21st century TV experience.

I have no DVDs/Bluediscs anymore, as they were never getting used over streaming.

However I kept my box sets of Monkey and The Water margin along with Buck Rogers in the 25th Centrury for cult classic memorabilia status

Cannot really call them a box set unless in physical form, so other shows I would just refer to a series.

Bought The X files DVD's as they came out every 6 months about 20 years ago. Each series cost between 70 and 90 quid so the whole lot cost me about £700. Crazy money. But unsurprisingly for an X Files fan I was young and single with money to burn at the time. Watched them to death so money well spent. They are available to stream on Disney + now.

I don't think I've ever bought a box set, though over a period of time I bought red dwarf dvds, and if I lined them up in order and the right way up, there was a couple didn't quite sync up. I didn't own a shelf at the time, but it'd annoy me now if I did

Fantastic first episode then goes down hill faster than Franz Klammer.
Just by humble opinion.
