For me "favourite films" (not movie, we're not American here, Pam) is mood dependent.
I can go from Jeff Goldblum in "The Fly" for the small philosophy segment to the whole depiction of mis/disinformation in "Goodnight, and Good Luck" to Darren Aronofsky's visual masterpiece of "The Fountain" to the complex serenity of "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" all the way to Javier Bardem's emotionless killing machine 'Anton Chigurh' in "No Country For Old Men".
Well, would you figure that! There's an intellectual complexity of messaging running through my films... in my opinion! Until now, I never knew that it was stuff that really made me think differently until laying it out properly!
