Whats your mood regarding City right now?

Seems a consistent view is the desire to get this season out of the way, I seem to remember it was a view expressed this time last year.
That shows how bad things are

Yeah we all seem in unison in the idea of just getting this season out of the way, however this has give me a lovely sense of 'well fuck it, lets just go for it'. My expectations of this season are so low that anything is a bonus and im just gonna enjoy the ride. With the beautiful safety net that Pep is coming next season.

Frustrated & disappointed.

We've let the league & the rags off the hook again !!

In this era we should've had four more trophies. Should've had back to back Prems. Should've won this years Prem by 7 points. Should've built a sustaining dynasty & a fantastic legacy and all during a period when the rags have been in the biggest mess for 50 years.

These opportunities don't come round very often & we've let too many go.

We should be the most respected, feared & popular team in the UK by a mile. We should be the ALL BLACKS of Football.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaargh.

I agree with all this mate, but what do you mean weve let the rags off the hook? Feck them, I couldn't give to shits about em, #LVGWELOVEYOU

Pissed Right Off, About sums it up. Apart from the first 5 games we have been an absolute shambles. I know you can say look where we were 10 years ago and all but with big money spent comes big expectation. Fact is we have spent near 140m and gotten worse than last season. It feels we have written off this season from the start just waiting for Pep. The way this season has gone we should be cruising this league with our squad. Massivley frustrated and dissapointed. But hey a Carling Cup win and Top 3 finish is the target now and onto next season with Mr Pep

Disappointed in the season so far and don't see it improving but no matter where we finish even if its outside the top four this year I am quite buoyant about our short term and long term future.

Happy to see the back of MP but he goes with my best wishes for his time at the club.

Excited.

With all the fair weather fans crying because we lost a couple of games I've been able to get tickets to away grounds that I usually miss out on. Stamford Bridge on Sunday and Anfield 10 days later. Throw in another Wembley cup final in between and it's happy days.

Very frustrated, mostly about the missed opportunity to dominate this league.

Going back to the summer of 2012 we've handicapped ourselves by spending vast sums on players that are not good enough. You don't improve as a team if you buy worse players than ones who leave.

We haven't adequately replaced Tevez, Bellamy, De Jong or Barry. In that time we've signed a plethora of random players ranging from utter shite (Fernando, Savic, Sinclair, Maicon), permanently injured (Rodwell, Jovetic) or average (Mangala, Otamendi, Bony). It's not like we've been tight with the purse strings, we just haven't scouted or pursued with enough determination and ambition enough players that would have improved us.

Again, going back to summer 2012, all we needed was to sign van Persie like Mancini desperately wanted - that would have guaranteed back to back titles.
The following year we were so close to getting Hazard, we should have done whatever it took, fair means or foul, to keep him out of Chelsea's dirty hands and get him signed up. Give the agent what he needed to get the deal done. Instead of spending £10m on Rodwell, for example.
Summer 2014, we should have got Fabregas, home grown, relatively cheap considering his ability and experience, again we fucked about, ended up with Fernando.
Last summer was better, KDB and Sterling, but injuries, age and a lack of a striker good enough to fill Aguero's role when he's out injured have cost us. Better signings over the past few years would have reduced the current impact of all these injuries.
Let's not piss about this summer - learn the lessons of the past; if we want to dominate, we need the very best. So Pogba, Alaba plus one of Müller, Lewandowski, Neymar, Bale or (wishful thinking perhaps) Messi himself for Pep to work with. No more 'promising but relatively unknown' youngsters or average randoms from Portugal. Blow the rag scum and cockney bastards away and make a fucking statement.

Hazard moved to Chelsea in 2012, not the year after van pussy went to the rags.

Best part of the season now.......FA cup vs a decent team, CL mid week against not Barca followed by a CUP FINAL! - Gonna be a great week.
