Whats your mood regarding City right now?

Having witnessed a whole stream of under-par performances I am expecting nothing from the rest of the season.

We have good players but you wouldn't think so watching them out there on the pitch.

I hope Pep can sort it out next season as the present incumbent seems to have lost the plot.

Excited and hopeful about Wednesday night and the Wembley weekend.

Pellegrini hasn't a clue tho and his record is pretty shit since he joined us :)

That makes interesting reading, could you produce a graph showing the trend over that same period.

I may be wrong but I suspect ours is on a downward curve.

I don't particularly have a mood about City at the moment, I'm pretty laid back about it and just taking things as they come and hoping for the best, while looking forward to next season. I'm getting increasingly annoyed by some of our fans though.

Interesting table. The goals scored is highly impressive. Would like to see the stats for the last 2 seasons though. Harsh as it seems eaten bread is very soon forgotten in football these days and last season and this season to date have been a step down on the title win.

We never win at home and we never win away.
We lost last week and we lost today.
We don't give a fuck coz we're all pissed up.
M c f c....ok.
Been singing that for years and years and I'll be singing it for the next 30 years.

Disappointed in our training methods/medical team & Fitness coaches. The amount of preventable hamstring injuries we've had, post 2012, (After Mancini, wrongly, threw a paddy at, and fired, Phil Batty) is ludicrous. I hope Guadiola quickly does likewise to the current bunch of quacks we are employing.

An upsurge in our fortunes would surely follow, in my opinion

I was rock bottom after the Spurs game and I can't imagine where I'll be come the Villa game. I know it won't be any higher than rock bottom though!

whole season hangs on Sunday for me - lose and we'll plummet, win and the season will be fantastic!
I feel that way as well. I'm sure a trophy will spur the team on, but a defeat and I think the players will just be thinking about Guardiola arriving.

Haven't got a table but we'd still be top from the start of 14/15. Just. Same number as points than Arsenal but our GD is superior +65 to + 53

For someone who used to dream of a Wembley final ( 1st match 1970) My joy of this one is tempered with fear of defeat, based on the way we are playing i know we have had teams in the past that cannot hold a candle to the one we have now ,but thats the point we are horribly under achieving .imho the announcement of Pep seems to have put the team/club on hold as we await his arrival, i sincerely hope he is worth the wait.

I have been feeling increasingly dejected for the past 12 months because of Pellegrini. I've been worried since about October that he'll cost us trophies this year and we'll win nothing. I thought the league was gone as soon as we announced Pep as it meant Pellegrini was definitely remaining in charge until the end of the season. Spurs and Leicester i expected defeats but i have been clinging on to the faint hope that something would click or maybe the penny would drop for Pellegrini and he would finally stop being as stubborn as Wenger and change. However, I think that hope was finally killed off after the Spurs defeat.

Yesterday, i went to the match knowing full well we'd play the kids and get torn apart but it was the most enjoyment i've had during the game for a while. The sense of not caring anymore was almost a relief and felt like a return to the days when we were crap and had nothing but survival and pride to play for. Wembley is realistically our last chance to win a trophy so it will be a return to the anxious nervous state on Sunday, followed by sheer relief or anger depending on the result. After that though, i genuinely think they'll be an almost end of season party atmosphere at most league games now knowing full well we haven't got to suffer with this guy in charge for much longer as Pep is coming in the summer and everything will look rosy again.

Before the season started I thought it was between us and Chelsea for the league, I was hoping for the league and a cup (ideally the FA Cup) and I wanted to see us progress in the CL.

If we didn't look likely to win the league then I wanted us to go all out for the CL as it would give us such global standing.

Based on the last few months I've been disappointed in how poor our shape has been and Pellegrini's inability to rectify it despite the quality of players at his disposal. The injuries and form have shown how the whole "holistic" bollocks they mentioned when Pelle was brought in hasn't been followed at all. There is enough talent at academy level to have tried some of the younger lads and they then could have kicked things on this season. It would also have forced the club into being firmer in their dealings with senior players who are far too comfortable at the club but not offering enough consistency - Demi, Kolarov, Yaya for example who could have and should have been moved on in the summer. Our recruitment has been lacking, but this happens and our success rate with signings has still been largely very good so I can't complain too much about that.

Right now I expect us to beat Kiev, from which point anything can happen. We have to win the league cup but if we don't win the league it will have been a huge opportunity lost and looking over Pellegrini's reign it will have been on league and potentially two league cups in three years. A trophy a season but not good enough and not a sign of our growing stature, even with Cl progression. Two league cups, two league titles and CL progression is much much better and a step forward with Guardiola able to take us further.

If I'm honest. Angry at the media, angry at some of our team, but most of all angry with Pellegrini. Feeling particularly angry at the thought of him playing Willie in goal on Wednesday which I am convinced he will do. Oh, forgot, angry at his handling of our kids. Best thing just now are the potato and meat pies and pepper and beef pies at the Etihad.
