Mine was the April 1991 home game vs Derby County.

Tony Coton was sent off and Niall Quinn had to go in goal and face a penalty from Dean Saunders.

He saved the penalty and we went on to win 2-1

Brilliant!!!

I remember Saunders missed a couple of penalties agaiinst us on visits to Maine Road.


I remember the 10 - 1 against Huddersfield and the fact we were rubbish for the first 20 mins

I could only watch that in the pub, I remember feeling totally gutted, then stunned and finally elated.

I've got that match recorded, my hair still stands up when Dickov scores the equalizer!!

no they are just expressing themselves, you should've heard em 2 hours we travelled up on the train for this!
