What's your .... 'Most memorable Match!'

I don't know how anyone who went to Wembley '99 can say anything other than that, unless they saw us winning the league or FA Cup or Cup Winners Cup!

Cup Final 1981 Spurs v City
The first time I'd ever been to Wembley, brilliant day!!
Bad result...
Tommy Hutchinson, my favourite player, free kick for Spurs, hit his shoulder and went in the net with 5 minutes to go,,,DEVASTATED!!!! The rest is history.
B.J.E.

King Colin's return against Newcastle..............still get goosebumbs just thinking about it,thanks to my brother Pete for taking me

At Maine Rd beating Charlton 5-1 on the last day of the 1985 season to win promotion to the 1st Division . Sat in the Platt Lane , and with five minutes to go , jibbed into the Maine Stand before running onto the hallowed turf at the final whistle . As a 14 year old i don't know what i was buzzing off most ? Us winning promotion or me being on the pitch . I can still remember that day like it was yesterday .

Mine has to be the tottenham game at white hart lane when we were 3 nil down at half time and barton had been sent off. We then came back to win 4-3. What a fantastic match.

3-4 Newcastle. For those that wern,t there, imagine Gillingham times 10.

Ooooh you lucky bastard! I had a ticket for that and gave it up cause I couldn't get a shift change!

Has to be the 3-1 Rags at Maine Rd.

Gary c**ting b@stard Neville mouthing off in the papers all week, then the ten mile stare and refusing to shake Schmike's hand, THEN refusing to let a ball go out for a corner and feeding THE Goat! ... Oh and then spitting on himself.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Plus the Goat hitting a milestone goal tally in front of them and walking out of the Kippax and past the Gene Kelly stand waving at all the wet Rags who were dumbounded.

Good times.
