My Mum has Altzheimers so even though she won't know who I am or why I'm there in my mind it's no reason to ignore Mother's Day. I'll take her a card and flowers and her favourite chocolates.

My children are planning to make my dinner for me so I'm very much looking forward to posting "beans and cheese on toast" on the "what are you having for your tea" thread about 6 ish tomorrow night!

My dad died from it, a sad time for me

Yes, it's not easy to watch someone you love slip away from you mentally while still very much with you still physically.
