Cobblers the lot of it! :-P
Depends on your viewpoint - we can chart fairly reliable historical graphs based on trends seen in recent history and considering the effects of improved healthcare provision on longevity, and although we don't know how many people there were living in Africa in the 1700s, we know there were enough for us to ship 18m of them over to the Americas without making a scratch on the population, not compared to how many we killed through starvation and wars caused by divide & conquer, so that gives us a reasonable idea of the numbers, if not totally accurate. We've now discovered 100% of the world's population (to at least 6 significant figures) so we can chart this sort of thing.

We're only taking the precision down to one day for this, which is rather inaccurate in terms of numbers when we're looking at up to 7bn people. The records of human populous are largely insignificant before WW1 so we can take a good guess.

When you were born, you were the:
5,360,794,127th
person alive on Earth
80,460,931,432nd
person to have lived since history began

Filled it all in correctly and had a life expectancy of 77.4years.

Crazy
