When a season ticket holder dies...

I'm in the situation where my Dad, a season ticket holder, has died. I'm going to inform the club as I would like my cousin who's a Blue Card holder to be able to take over the seat. I accept that I won't be able to carry over my Dad's points, but will City let me transfer the seat to my cousin? Or will City just render my Dad's card void for the rest of the season? Any information from someone who's been in a similar situation would be gratefully received.

Sorry to hear about your Dad mate..RIP

Matey I had two season cards in my name...this season I was able to log onto the website and change the address AND name to my mates on one of them...dont think u could do this before...try it!

Comiserations about your father.

On a lighter note though this does remind me of the article once mentioning about a percentage of United season ticket holders being dead. It was something like 5%. They are known as the most vocal section however.

sorry for the loss of your dad.I lost mine and my mate took his seat but had to start his points from scratch.Think it would be unwise to carry on with the same name. What happens when the club realise your dad has reached OAP level(if he hasnt already?)Does your mate then still apply in your dads name or his own? I just informed the club what happened and then changed the seat to my mates name.

just renew every year, points and seat assured.

Clever thinking but seems a bit wrong on a personal level.

when i pop my clogs i expect my grandson to take my seat and keep the zillion points.

*proud*

Will your grandson carry on the family tradition of flogging any tickets for games you dont go to on Bluemoon Ticket forum just so you get the loyalty points?

PROUD

My mates mum passed away last year and after approaching the club they gave him tickets for the whole family, a mention in the games programme and swapped her season ticket, with loyalty points into his name. They also changed it from an adult ticket to a student one this season to give him cheaper admission.

There are some very good people at City and everyone I know who have approached them for a genuine reason have not been left regretting getting in touch.

That is a fantastic thing to do by the club, can`t imagine the scum doing it.......city ruining football again

R.I.P for your Dad mate. Mine past away just before the takeover and we laid his ashes at City's memorial garden with the club's helpful permission. Hope you sort the ticket situation out favourably with City and I'm sure they will be more than understanding.
