You're flapping, no other word for it mate, flapping, pure and simple.

Remember Liverpool will have fixture pile ups soon after competing in the world club Cup. They will suffer for their over reliance on the front three. Last season when they were 7 points clear I said to anyone who would listen that they won't lose many but it will be too many draws that kill them and so it turned out to be.

Believe me, we've already won the league.

It's not impossible. But the end result won't always be the same. And this season is only really comparable to last season IMO. Liverpool 2018-, are much better than any of the other examples.

Our squad is fine.

The team we saw is not.

Our manager needs to coldly assess some things to keep us in this race and his love for Silva and Gundogan needs checking.

Silva is done, he was done last season. Playing him is literally keeping one of Mahrez, Silva or Foden benched and all 3 could change a games tempo more than David can now.

We can still challenge IF Pep actually does what he’s failed to do anywhere and evolve the team to a second group of players.

But what about 12/13 and 14/15? Nobody knows how this season will pan out, but let’s not pretend that we don’t have form the opposite way from the years you have mentioned.
