Easy win for the govt to decide the top 50% are passing instead of the top 25% and hey presto they have made education twice as good while actually investing fuck all and it's loads worse.Ever since the politicisation of education.

Not in my day mate - they published everything.
It’d be laid out as the total number followed by the number of A-C in brackets, for every candidate and have their first initial and surname next to it.
