Just curious as I genuinely can't remember, We have enough hight in the team. It's just sometimes we don't seem to have any routines worked out for set pieces, I feel with our squad we should be good for at least eight goals a season from set pieces. Also we seem a little reluctant to try shots from outside the box, think we should take more of a chance with long range shots as well as working the ball into the area. This is not a bobby out thread or a dig at the team, I'm just curious as to what other peoples thoughts are on this.

the quality of delivery is appalling, between Silva, AJ, Milner, Kolarov almost 100 mil worth of crossers can't beat the first man.

Then surely the coaching staff must see this too, if it's so obvious to all of us. Isn't it about time we addressed this more in training.

-- Sat Nov 13, 2010 5:30 pm --

When EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR was a consistent starter for us.

Must admit I was a bit bemused when he didn't even make the bench, thought he was pretty much back to full fitness.

Thread revival but it's still a genuine question. Fuckin dire, you'd think we practise them considering how many we get but its obvious we don't. And if we do, we should be very ashamed of it

how difficult can it be to make sure your corner kick goes beyond the first man ? (i help coach 9 and 10 year olds who can do this) , surely MP can get navas, milner, silva to launch the ball into the six yard box.

City cornes are as painful as Cancer !!
solution do not take them its just a waste of time or do it differently : a pass

Unbelievable that this malaise has been there since 5 years

Apart from a blip last season when we, unbelievably, were the highest scorers from corners in the league!!!

Own goals don't count...

I'd sooner have Dunnie back in our team than a couple of those who pretended to play for us today. Whatever you say about Dunnie's own goals or even Dunnie's tenure in our team you could never fault his work ethic. Some of this lot are just taking the money and laughing all the way to the bank!!

What is wrong with taking a short corner. No one takes responsibility or used their brain.
