When does Yaya and Kolo go to Africa Cup?

I think the ACON starts on the 20/21st? so hopefully he won't have gone by the 7th lol
 
Sheikh should buy and name a palace after Yaya in Abu Dhabi in exchange for withdrawing from ACoN.
 
I always thought that clubs have to release players 14 days before comp starts unless there are good reason. Could be game against rags will be his last for us.
 
Hopefully we can have a word with their FA.

The Liverpool second leg is on the 11th, so good chance they will agree that he can go after that.
 
I believe the national teams are entitled to call-up their players a fortnight before competition starts...i.e. 7th January.

Normally a day or two leeway is possible if club is on good terms with national team coach etc...and can negotiate a delayed departure.

Ivory Coast first game on 22nd Jan...so maybe Yaya available for FA Cup vs Utd.

Think you mean first leg, but I agree we may be able to keep him until after that game if we say pretty please.
 
Now that the Cup draw has been made, they've decided to put club before country. They couldn't bear the thought of missing out on yet another pop at the rags.
