I know it is useless, but it is something i want to share with you. Sorry for my poor English.

When I go back in memory to last year summer market, I feel sorry that we failed to buy the contract of Eto'o. I believe it was a turning point in our chances to be among the top four.

I do not know why we have stopped our attempts to persuade him and bring him to City although he is the one who requested more time to think about our offer, but i think we should have been more patient. Today I believe we should have waited all the time for a player with his caliber taking into consideration that we have waited longer time for a player like joleon lescott for example.

When I watch Eto'o performance at Inter Milan, I see a world class player, he played a critical role in helping Inter Milan to scoop the treble last year. He was given full freedom in positioning, sometime played as striker and in other times he played in the midfield or even in defense almost a complete player.

He was one of the most important reasons that help Inter to win the treble. It would have not happened without the effort put by Eto'o in all over the pitch.

He also played an important role in bringing Wesley Sneijder to Inter Milan when he advised Jose Mourinho to bring him from Real Madrid who also turned to be one of the best Inter players.

When I think back to that summer, I regret that we missed that great opportunity

yeah he is a great player.

but i havent really noticed this until this year. hes a gobby little **** who needs a smack. he was giving large to our boys in the friendly over in usa. he was trying to have it with Kompany. why he would try to do such a thing because Kompany would eat the fucker alive!

but it seemed to me that we was after a player just from africa because when we failed to land him we signed Ade

Probably true, but just tell your dad to ring one of Eto'o's 400 mobile phones and offer him more money ;)

I agree he is a great player but I suspect he was never serious about joining us.

I am not really sure this is true, I think it is about waiving his options. A player like Eto'o will always think twice before any movement, especially for a club that is not competing yet.
