The Everton home game still need to be confirmed I think.
That game is sounding tasty. For many reasons. The game has bad blood written all over it,With moyes comments about our apparently disrepectful way of doing business.Phil Nevilles obvious ties/connections.Their fans attitude toward lescott. Many more reasons im sure, just a quick thought.

All the more reasons to leave it as long as possible, play it in April when the 3 points will be crucial. It will be all the better winning it then.

The rags had this last year from the Super Cup game(in Aug) and ended up playing the make up game in May! by the looks of things the 1st likely dates are Jan 6 or the 20th if we both get knocked out of the CC before the SF stage. The irony of that is that we play them away on the 16th so we might end up playing them back to back in the league.

Very true... plus we need to make sure we take points off Villa, Tottenham, Everton and the Sky 4 whenever possible (less worried about the other 13 teams as I think we our squad is too strong for them now). Everton have started to play well after a shit start so we need to make sure we are getting maximum points.
Valid points Cambridgeblue,Evertons shite start carried an element of blame on the moyes/Everton Dressing rooms reaction to Lescots, want away attitude. They probably think we owe them maybe 9 points, for breaking camp morale. They may take that attitude into the game.
Really looking forward to Tommorows game.I agree with your reference to the 2nd tier group of spurs, villa, everton. We have to dominate those before becoming the 5th member of the mighty sky group.A Good indicator tommorow night for all of us to digest.

can't see it being until after the new year. the date will mostly depend on how far everton go in europe and how far both clubs go in the carling and fa cups. too much fixture congestion likely. my guess is february or march.

It will probably be pencilled in for the week of FA cup replays in January and then postponed because either us or them have drawn in the first game, leaving me out of pocket for flights etc (unless of course it is us that draws and the replay is at home or somewhere in the North West

Looking at the table today we're in really good shape - a win against Villa will see us move to third, a point behind the scum, with a game in hand over Chelsea, United, Tottenham and Liverpool.

But my question is when is our extra game that will get us back in sync with the teams around us? As is stands we are level on points with Liverpool having played two games less, suddenly it looks as if Liverpool are the ones that need to start worrying rather than Arsenal.

If we maintain our current form (which you would expect us to do given the games we have coming up) then the 21st of November is going to be a huge, huge day for us - and the premier league as a whole.

I couldn't agree more!! What a game that could be!!

I think it will be in Jan but as paul_blue as said the 21st Nov willbe a really vital game and I wouldn't put it passed our lot to go and do something there. I know it might sound a little bit defeatist but I would be very happy with a draw, but a win I would be jumping off the Balloch bridge into the leven. NAA don't think so too bloody cold.

Ideally for us would be in close proximity of Everton having played a very important Europa/UEFA game away in Europe akin to us going to Hamburg last year.

Looking back, we lost in Germany that ultimately cost our place in the cup then we went onto lose at home to Fulham on the Sunday which effectively cust us our place in Europe for this season - although admittedly that fixture was in the calendar long before our QF in the UEFA.

I don't think we will have so much luck or foresight to attempt to plan such an arrangement though.
