When SKY interview fans outside the ground

My theory has always been that as most of these interviews outside the grounds are done on a week day then the only people you are going to get to interview are the unemployed or unemployable. These people will generally knock around outside the stadium as they have nothing better to do.

How else can you explain that everytime Newcastle appoint/sack another manager that within an hour they have hundreds outside the ground, all willing to give their views to SKY, even tho no one else in the country can understand one word of their jibba jabba.

Is it just me, or do Sky give them a line that they MUST say? I found it strange that the very first words they all said was "I thought he was going to United?" I certainly didn't think he was nailed-on for Utd.

The kid who didn't seem to want Nasri made himself look silly, but to be honest I know I would brick it and probably come out with garbage if a mic was shoved in my face, and i'm a confident chap. I'm sure those on the footage all looked at it last night and thought 'hmmm, could have put that better!'

I gave an interview for channel m, setanta and sky sports at the swamp on the munich 50th anniversary derby.

I was grabbed because i was a lone blue shirt among thousands of rag tops on busby way before the game. The 3 separate journo's were trying to goad me into saying something inflammatory about how we would observe the silence. On each occasion i said the same thing about it being a sad day for football and that MANCHESTER felt their pain too.
At the end of the last interview i glared into the camera and said "c'mon city it's about time" the 3 interviews were shown, me stood in front of the munich clock saying "c'mon city it's about time".

The press edit out anything they don't want, making you look like a twat for their own benefit.

Now if i get asked i just say fuck off you sad twats.

So with regards to my above post, it's highly likely that Sky told all those fans to mention Utd so that they can build up their City v Utd transfer tussle extravaganza?

Bit sweeping mate, I went down to the stadium about 10 times during the week last season to buy tickets for cup/away matches. Always loads of people there either on a day off or nipping down during their breaks.

Those 3 were embarrassing. I cringed watching the second guy who acted like Nasri is a squad player.

Erm... did he see the goal Nasri scored at Eastlands?

Sure did terrible defending

it's about time... a sensible post.

they don't show what was asked of them before the microphones went active, they don't show what other 500 words they may of said.

I know quite a lot about the game, Nasri included, but if I'm just going about in my own little world and some guy asks me instantly: what do you think about Nasri?
My mind would go blank and I'd be umming and arring.
They probably didn't show the full on tactical breakdown of Nasri the lads gave, but that would show us as sophisticated with class and they need to keep the impression us northerners are all dumb shameless bastards who are drugged up.
