When/why did you join Bluemoon?

i followed a link from <a class="postlink" href="http://www.colourfularsecheeks.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">www.colourfularsecheeks.com</a>.

After years of being a technophobe I eventually scummbed to getting my first laptop and the internet put on at home, soon after a mate of mine told me about Bluemoon so I joined, that was in 2009 and although I'm not the most profilic of posters I visit daily to get my fix.

Joined the day it started, think I was the 5th person. Seen many blues come and go over the years some sadly passed away and many new overseas blues. some right idiots on here but mostly all have the club at heart. Will probably still be here as long as Ric keeps it ticking along.

Back in 2008 my regular hangout (Blueview) had gone and I was desperate for info and a Schalke ticket as well..So I signed up for Bluemoon.

I dabbled in blueview, bluewatch etc I wasn't a regular user I did it mainly for pleasure mostly at the weekends which I could handle. Then noticed on some of the forums people kept mentioning a site called bluemoan. Other users told me to stay away from it as it would send you mad but I didn't listen and thought having one sneaky peek at the the place wouldn't do me any harm.

That was my mistake once on it I found myself browsing every city related topic I could moan about from the ticket office to pies I had found my nirvana.

At first everything seems fine but then you start to go deeper and before you know it your in a thread about muffins or barms, or discussing if the moon landings were real and it's actually an interstella space craft hidden underneath the rock. I now spend my time lurking in the transfer forum hoping to get the same buzz as I once did reading about sultanas in pies but to no avail the transfer forum is a dark dirty place full of seedy people who would kill their own mother to be ITK.

On a happier note I am getting help of sorts. I lurk on rag cafe every now and again. Although this is thankfully not a cure it does make me feel better about myself as I could be worse off and be one of those deluded idiots.

I was at Blueview for a while as Samba Blue in the late 1990's then drifted away from internet football forums altogether for a while. Then in 2008 the ghost of football future appeared to me and said I had to get back on the internet sharpish cos something amazing was about to happen at Man City. So here I am.

Joined when I moved from Manchester to MK, (although I moved to Cambridge not long after), I had hoped to catch up with some blues down south which I did. I've been hooked ever since although I 'lurk' rather than post.
