When will tickets sell out?

All season card holders and their loyalty points/cup scheme status are on a database. The club knew how many tickets they were getting and (presumably) using the info from the database came up with the figure 2000 points as an estimate as to who would be likely to get tickets. How on earth, if uptake has been less than expected, can they now be expecting it to sell out at 3000 points. They either had a complete idiot doing the maths in the first place, there has been an almighty fiddle or the bloke at the ticket office was talking through his arse.

correct,one thing i was thinking if tickets were getting tight and not looking like it would service the 2000 points they would stop the junior
deal, this is a limited deal which is (will) be based on sales
 
Incidentally, I noticed that when the girl who served me wrote my points number on the sheet, she wrote down my current number which included my Liverpool points. Not sure if they are enforcing the whole 19th March deadline or not. Just a thought if you've just bought a ticket and moved up a day in terms of criteria.
 
just got back from the stadium. there at 6am and was 21 in the line.

away for 9.15

there are only single seats left on the bottom tier.

Yep, my Dad has just got his and he was about to get two at the front of the £50 behind the goal but they went and he's had to go for £40 on the cornerflag
