When would derby be moved to.

If we are playing Sunderland we will be forced to play it 3 days before the final.
if playing the rags, then it would be deemed unfair to expect them to play 3 days before a major final, so pushed back further into the season.

United are playing on the midweek before the Final anyway as they are in Greece for their European game, so we have a nice long week off. Even if West Ham and Sunderland are in the final, we'd still have the week off before the derby as the rags are in Greece.

Penultimate game of the season. We've won the title and they have to give us a guard of honour. Then we beat them and rob them of a Europa League spot.

This would be perfect - can imagine their faces having to give us a guard of honour.

The rags will go all out to win the cup so they qualify for Europa. Not so long ago they weren't arsed about this competition, how times change...

The Derby Will Be Moved!!!

Not sure if this has been covered, but there is a strong possibility the Derby will be moved towards the end of the season. We are due to play United on March 1st, but the Capital One Cup Final is Sunday 2nd March. Basically if either City or United get there, this game will be moved.

I think it might be a slight stretch to play United in the league, then in a friendly before playing Sunderland in the FL Cup final.
