Where’s the money gone?

Lol, a lot faster than that.
You wish.

Money makes the world go round mate, and socialism doesn't make money. i.e. doomed to failure in the short to medium term. In 100 years or so when robots have taken all jobs, then maybe.

Your context is missing.

Capitalists cannot do anything without having the thousands of workers that put in the hours and stress to make the 'ideas'/ 'dreams' capitalists have, into a reality.

Those workers' low pay are also taxed heavily in order to help society work.

Socialists want to make sure those heavily taxed workers are paid a living wage, so there is less stress and mental illness and therefore less drain on society's NHS to help society work better.

If the 1%-10% don't want to pay more in tax, then pay your workers better.

Heavily taxed? Workers on the lowest pay currently pay absolutely no tax whatsoever. The folk on the highest pay however pay the most tax.

Why again should the folk paying almost half their earnings in tax have to pay more?

A socialist system is based around the collective where EVERYONE contributes equally, that is the most fundamental part of it. Anyone calling the rich grabbing socialism as true socialism or even communism is really getting it completely wrong.

In a true socialist or communist system there is no rich paying for everything for everyone, there is only the state and the worker and it is the worker who does everything and pays for everything. The state then decides how the 'earnings' are spent and distributed.

Good for them! I wish I was so fortunate.

There's some bitter cutns around that's for sure.

"Those" were not the bankers you muppet. "Those" were ordinary peoples' savings accounts and pension funds, which otherwise would have been wiped out.

The government didn't bail out the bankers, they bailed out the banks. Quite a bit of sodding difference.

So that's a doubling during a period which saw gdp growth of 30%, adjusting for which you get excess wealth of 150bn

And a substantial part of that is due to foreigners coming in to the UK

Eliminate that effect as well and you are looking at 10bn or so per year.
As opposed to a government spending budget of hundreds of billion every year.

You don’t understand the banking system do you? It’s a system of debt which makes themselves richer and fucks everyone else. How you’re applauding such things is weird. Why when they print money it’s called legal tender and if I do the same it’s counterfeit? These cunts have a monopoly on money and have distracted the masses for decades.

“ It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning.”
Henry Ford

Forgive me, I realise how out of context my post looks when I know what I mean.

Democratic socialism is my context response.

I agree with your view of socialism.

Democratic socialism doesn't deny capitalism its glory.

It just wants fairness in paying back into the society we live in.
