Where did all the flags disappear, were they not allowed up there today for some reason seemed strange after all the effort fans have gone to plus they have looked great the first few home games.
You beat me to it.Looked crap with just the boards and the word Etihad.
Hi Si,ah well thats good news then mate.It just looked so bloody awful and me and our Josh noticed it straight away at 2.50pm when we took our seats, but glad to learn its weather related and not dictatorship from our favourite people Showsec.I was in the stadium @1400 and put our flag up mate. But the wind kept blowing it back up and over. I had to take it down as it would have been over the heads of the supporters in the first 3 rows in the third tier :-(
I can only assume other people had the same problem with their flags.

Tie small weights to the bottom ends of the flag. Works a treat with the wind.
Am I right that's the odd fellows arms davenham? I was born at the (long ago demolished) infirmary round the corner. Used to go there as a kid in the early 80's - beer garden with a barrel swing in it. Unbeatable!
I was thinking of doing something like this mate but wondered if it would be a health and safety issue with it being above other fans below. Not sure what to do really, possibly get some weights sewn in to it at the bottom?
