Where Do We Still Need To Strengthen?

This won't go down too well with a lot of people on here,
but I honestly think 1 more striker and that's it, that's
assuming there are no more outgoings. We're covered
in every position then. Might be a quiet couple of months
this.

I tend to agree. I get the feeling though that we're looking to get Kolarov and possibly Lescott off the wage bill so if we either of them go I expect incomings to replace them.

Otherwise we sign a forward and we go ...

This is assuming Lescott goes:

one CB

+

This is assuming Barry goes:

One CM

+

This is assuming Aleks goes:

One LB

+

one striker

+

backup keeper

+

one creative player if decent option presents itself

I think Pellegrini will use the 4-2-3-1 formation

Hart

Zabaleta____Kompany_____Nastasic______Clichy

___________Yaya_______Fernandino____________

Navas__________Silva_____________Nasri

_____________Aguero________________

Milner can play in all the midfield positions

I think we need another goal scoring midfielder, someone who can have a combination of 15 goals and assists.

Number one priority must be a centre forward.

We may need a gk if pants goes

Id sell Kolorv and bring in a young fullback who is learning his trade as cover for clichy

I dont think we need a centre back - Nasty, Kompany lescott, richards can all play there (even garcia). Id keep lescott and offer him a new contract.

Maybe a left sided wide player/attacker for balance?

Sell - kolorov, garcia (maybe pants)

Another CF, CB cover, GK cover and either a creative midfielder or a pacey left winger.

This. if Pants goes, if not we're fine goalie wise, and I would prioritise a pacey left winger over another creative mid.

1. Striker
2. LB if Kolarov leaves
3. left winger
4. CB if Lescott leaves
5. GK if Pants leaves

In order of priority

1. A replacement No2. I wish Pantilemon would stay though.
2. A Left sided winger (or attacking full back). Need pentration on the left. I like DiMaria - but without the diving please.
3. Another striker. I'd be happy with a modest one (like Negrado, Benteke, Gomez, Fred, Villa) if Dzeko stays.
4. Another CB. I like Pepe - but without the thuggery please.

The most important are:
[1] Isco may not be coming but we still need a player who can play AM to either play alongside or in place of Silva when injured. No strength in depth here at all. Nasri simply isn't good enough. Player to double up as left wing / in the hole striker. Christian Erikssen would be my choice.
[2] Left Wing. Need a left winger. (Bruma?) Possiblly to double as a striker or AM. (Jovetic?)
[3] Striker? Not sure we need another. Depends if Dzeko is leaving or if Pellegrini considers Gudetti good enough. If one is required then Negrado looks good. I'd rather it was Cavani though.

A better replacement for all those who leave.

Striker: top priority. Our midfield lacks goals badly. Someone happy to be a squad player but can play at the right level - Rondon / Loic Remy / Negredo

Back up keeper. It'd be a good way to keep up the homegrown quota - Hennesey

Left Winger. Bit of balance to the side, impact player - Bernard, Fischer

Back up CB - versatile, can cover anywhere across back 4. Homegrown - Martin Kelly or Tompkins

Couple of youngsters - Hughes & Clyne.

Echo many of the previous posts but I'd love to see a pacey left footed winger come in. Someone who can get to the byline and get a good cross in. Navas on the other side stretching defences all over the place. Sergio/Edin mopping up in the middle.
