Where do you see us as a club (for our fans and others)

Ive always found this fairly interesting especially reading through the posts on here. You have the blue blind who as far as they are concerned city are the biggest thing on the planet. You have fans who see us as a top four club now we have the money, you have fans who see us as on the same level as spurs, villa, everton et al and fans who hark to our past dealings in div2 etc and say never forget where we come from and have us as relegation candidates.

I was just wondering where everyone our fans and fans of other clubs saw your status as a club and if you arent happy with it what do you think could/should change it?

Simple really I see us as the only Club on the planet.Not interested in the others to be honest, do have an admiration for Arsenal and Barca because of the way they play

We are in the Top 20 in the world and will be in the inaugural European Super League when it is formed.

I see a top 2 of the rags and Chelsea fighting for the title this season, then I see 4 teams fighting for the available places from 3rd to 6th, Liverpool, Arsenal, Us and Spurs. I consider Spurs to be the weakest of those 4, other strong teams that could put a run together and challenge for the 5th/6th place spot would be from Villa, Fulham, West ham and Everton. I am happy with our progress and am happy with my percieved standing of where we currently are, but there is a whole unpredictable season ahead of me yet so in summary, who really knows ;o)

I am not too concerned with league places really as such its not what i was driving, its more the perception of status really, if Bolton won the premier league for the next 5 years would they still be considered a mid level club, if notts county made it to the prem league would they be considered the elite or just someone that got lucky, are we considered the elite or will we ever be. Things like that really.

What level do people see us and for other fans their own club at and do you think anything can be or should be done or can ever be done to change it.

Have edited that bit and clarified a bit further on but not because i think one persons reply is more important over another that i should clarify for them. I do accept that i didnt explain myself clearly initially but the response was a fairly arrogant one as to suggest that his reply was so important that clarification was indeed necessary.

I may have taken what was said in the wrong way and if so i apologise to Didsbury Dave
