so assuming the big splash the cash players - 1st or 2nd
or
general squad improvements (a few £10 -25mil players) then 4th or 5th

If Mark Hughes is still in charge no change we will end up between 8th and 12th.
If we get Jose or another world class manager and get some world class players and not just players wanting to get a big payday and will fight for the team then top 4 no doubt

Far too early to say for definite. However, no matter who is the manager or who is in the squad, 7th is the absolute minimum requirement, and probably only good enough for the owners with a cup final thrown in. Anything else would be regression. I'd like to think top 6 - we should be looking at Villa and Everton and thinking we can be there next season. Even better, if Arsenal don't improve quickly we could steal into the top 4.
