I guess we'll have to wait and see about wherever Kompany can stay fit, though Mangala and MD weren't terrible together last season and with Denayer coming in and getting games (I'm confident he will) they'll be enough rotation available if needed.Fair enough, but there's a huge reliance on Kompany staying fit. Otherwise there's an alarming lack of cover, especially when the Champions League kicks-in.
I'm of the opinion that it's not too important either way because we will score shed loads this year, it'll be more of the type of football that we saw in the title winning seasons as opposed to what we saw last year.
The teams we're fighting it out for don't have our firepower, they also have their own deficiencies throughout the teams. Chelsea are probably the most solid out of everyone and that's who we will be going toe to toe with. They're only an injury away to Costa and Hazard from being deep in the shit though. Although you could argue that we'd be similar if Aguero and Silva were out I don't see that as much this season with the players coming in.
