My dads ashes are coming back to my mother next week. At first she was keen to put them into the river weaver. I have now stopped her to suggest we put him somewhere on the Bankside and not as bloody ground bait.

Same here. Have insisted on direct cremation, no funeral, in my instructions. Not to save money, just on principle.

Whenever the word cremation crops up I have scarey visions of Sean Connery in that coffin....the music and the flames.....I'm claustrophobic !!!!
