Where does everyone go to in town after the game?

Ok - I get Mother Macs and Waldorf - though after a Sunday game the Waldorf is dead as anything at times.
But still not really getting where everyone vanishes to in the main.
It kills me to say it but when have the misfortune to be in town when the red shite have played they are everywhere - being knobs as usual true mind.
Seems like 15 minutes after the walkers/buses get back to town you would never have known we had even played though.
Now I am old enough to know there is definitely a red shit bias in town and they do seem to get away with more. But still, where does everyone vanish to?

Have I said that...!?
Most of them rags you see in town are bar stool season cards and three-pint heroes who 'couldn't get a ticket'

Manchester Airport Terminal 3, beer's pricey - and the bouncers go a bit overboard, they search bloody everyone.

Then head onto British Airways, free beer and table service before a quick bus trip to Heathrow Terminal 3 and Finnair. They have table service too, and better looking staff.

Grey Horse on Portland St or Mother Macs on Back Piccadilly. This Sunday 4 of us are meeting up after the match, all 4 will be going home by train from Picc to Marple/ Nottingham/Chester/ Dawlish, so it will be one of the bars on the statin.

Well I go back to the reality which is called life and home.

I'd hazard a guess the majority of people go home after games.

United fans tend to be different, they are in Manchester to make a weekend of it, a regular routine, Friday through to Sunday mornings.

Blues who have the luxury of going back into town after games and hitting the bars are either still living at home, unmarried, or rich!!

I think you are onto something here.

Gotta agree where are all the city pubs in town centre. After a match we all seem to disappear

Northern Quarter is normally brimming with blues on a match day, but a lot are not in colours, Montpelliers, Tib st tav, cord, wheatsheaf, Bar Fringe, Hairy, Turks Head, go in most of them after or before a game. Tend to avoid deansgate as it's shite though, rain bar, brittons, salisbury pevil and the rest down near oxford rd are decent too

I don't wear colours as most of the bars in Northern Quarter put on alarms and start screaming if you enter a 100 yard radius wearing a city pin badge. Might explain the vanishing for a lot of people.

Or we aren't whipped ;)

I drink round Tib Street after the match. There's about 10 of us always out after and before home games round there.
