Where have all the banners gone ??

Since the end (?) of Operation One End it seems a lot of our banners have gone..Anyone know where "Real Mancunians, SWP, On the sixth day etc have gone...."

Stadium looks piss poor in comparison to some others I'd hate to mention...

That was a superb banner, and tbh should be returned immediately

I miss the "On the sixth day.........." one, it was almost exactly opposite whre I sit and it inspired me! (OK I exaggerate abou inspired but I loved to look at it!! I am mad ok?? :-)

I've noticed this as well. Over the past few years the amount of banners (or lack thereof) is shocking.

For a team that has a famously loyal fanbase, you'd think there'd be a fair few.

I know there was a problem with some of the obstructing the view of those underneath...however they seem to all have gone at once..Anyone know where and more importantly why?...Or is it that the banner "owners" can't e bothered or the stadium Politburo have banned them?

I heard a tale that the original was stolen by rags working at the ground. Sure a large version of it passed over my head in east stand lower the other week.

I was told (at the time) that one of the players took it home and didn't return it.

The ' On the 6th day....' banner started flapping up and down after it became loose,

Was completely removed not long after, don't know why.

On the subject of banners, one with something like 'MCFC Shameless' was unfurled just before kick off away at villa, first game of last season. Never seen it since but liked it, got a huge cheer and even the brummies cheered it
